About Sne Patel
Aloha, I’m Sne Patel, your candidate for State House of Representatives District 14 - West Maui, serving Lahaina, Maʻalaea, Waiheʻe and Waiehu.
As a husband and father, small business leader and community volunteer, I know how important it is to have a vibrant community—one that offers opportunity, supports our families and creates a strong quality of life. A community where our ʻohana can live, work and thrive for generations to come.
I was raised in an immigrant family, where I watched my father take on multiple jobs to make sure our family had a chance at something better. Hard work, resilience and commitment to family were the foundation of our home. These values shaped who I am, and they continue to guide me every day.
For more than 20 years, I’ve worked as a West Maui small business leader committed to strengthening our community. Through my work with the LahainaTown Action Committee, as former Chair of the Maui County Liquor Commission, through the joint State and County Economic Recovery Commission, and as a Ka Ipu Kukui Leadership Fellow, I’ve had the opportunity to work alongside others to help our community navigate challenges, support local businesses and move forward solutions that will help create a stronger and more resilient Maui.
West Maui has faced great challenges in recent years, and our community deserves steady, accountable leadership that brings people together and keeps us moving forward. By investing in recovery and local jobs, housing solutions, infrastructure, education and responsible stewardship of our land and natural resources, we can create a stronger future for our families and future generations.
I’m here to do my part to help make sure our community has a strong voice and a stronger future. When we work together, with respect and shared purpose, we can build a future for West Maui that is not only stronger—but filled with hope.
